Which Is Healthier? Your Car Or Your Colon? Colon Cleaning Helps.

By Donnie Boots

Do you know as much about your colon as you do about your car? Who cares? You ought to. What if your body could benefit from preventive maintenance as much as your car? Suppose you could flush out toxins and lose weight if you had a colon cleaning?

No, not a colonic irrigation like the old days at a spa. A simpler less invasive approach is a lot more common today. You can buy an herbal colon cleanse product and do it yourself. What if getting rid of years of toxic waste on the inside of your body would make you healthier? Hey? Makes sense. Right?

Lets compare your body and its care to your car and how you care for it. Body and car both need fuel to work. Body gets fuel from food and water. Car gets fuel from gasoline. Car and body need to eliminate waste products.

Car exhaust system eliminates waste. Human body has a complex elimination system that separates liquids and solids. Liquids are filtered through your kidneys and wastes are released as urine. Solids get compacted in your large intestines (colon) while water is absorbed into your cells. The solid wastes are excreted as feces. You hardly notice these things are happening everyday unless something goes wrong. Pretty remarkable.

When your car has an exhaust system problem you will notice, often before you begin to pay attention to your own elimination system. You think it was just a bad day or something you ate or drank that is a temporary problem.

But if it is your car with a problem, you probably stop and talk to the mechanic and ask about the symptoms, right? You want to prevent major problems. Did you catch that? You want to protect your car. How come you don't do the same with your body? Stop at the doctor and discuss the symptoms YOU had to prevent further problems! Hm.

Is it not strange that you and I pay more attention to our automobiles than we do to our own bodies? Perhaps this is part of the reason for shiny cars and dreadful health issues out there. Your body needs preventive maintenance even more than your car, but when you dont pay attention to it, the ailment continues to get worse the same way a small clink becomes a big clunk with your car. You need a clean colon more than you need a clean car. You can get colon cleansing products online easily.

Really, it is not that hard to add an herbal colon cleanseto your regular body care. Your body can be flushed out just like you flush out your radiator (well, not exactly). Getting rid of all of those toxins in your body can leave you feeling better, healthier, more energetic and maybe even losing some weight as a side benefit. Unclog that colon.

Paintless Dent Removal Made Easy - Car Bodywork Help

By Mario Goldstein

In the fine art of paintless dent removal, there is more of a fine art involved than you might think. Not only does it require good training skills, it also requires the touch.

The tools used for this procedure are long and delicate, to allow access to difficult to reach places. One wrong move can cause a wrinkle in the surface, making a highpoint that is visible when looking at the smoothness of the surface.

Wrinkled metal is one of the most difficult, if not, almost impossible repairs to do, it all depends on the force of the slip. Most often you get one chance only in paintless dent removal, it is a finesse job that requires great skill, combined with a lot of knowledge and a gentle touch.

Gaining Access When doing paintless dent removal, the first thing that has to be done is to gain access, whether it is the hood, roof, door, trunk, or quarter panel. Once access is gained, you have to select the right tool, not forgetting the length, tip size and diameter when you are selecting that tool.

Starting the Repair Once you have started the repair, delicate, and precise movements are required, many times over, it?s the repetition that works the area. The metal can?t be pushed, it has to be "coaxed" back into its original position, and ?coaxed" is the right word being you can only remove small amounts of metal at a time. There are four major types of damage, and different ways to repair each of them. The standard dent is reversed by a massaging action at the center. For a crease, you use work from left to right, while gently applying. If you start with the smallest dent you can repair double rings can be repaired by starting.

The best way to start with is the smaller area then move to the larger one. Once you have repaired about 90 % of the damage, then you need to work on the distortion evident in the larger dent.

The trick of doing the actual repair is to get the light right on the painted side of the surface. You have already got your tool in place from the other side and now you are ready to get into the finer work.

You need to find the precision point of the tip of the tool. To do this shining the light in the same direction stand perpendicular to the crease. . Don?t work at an angle as the surface will look distortedLooking for the tool tip is like stretching a piece of foil and running your fingernail across it from the other side. When you are repairing the surface, you can see the tool tip you gently move it back and forth, much like the fingernail example. Start at the center, and apply pressure steadily, in finite strokes. The larger the dent, the less pressure you need.

Completing the job. If you did have to make a hole to gain entry, apply sealant as a paint protector and continue to mend the hole.

Gas Scooters - Add a Touch of Creativity

By Mike Scott

It is no secret that the price of gasoline has climbed to almost intolerable levels. This has caused financial hardship to many families who have to commute to and from work every day. Cars have become a luxury in many places and in a lot of major world cities from New York to Calcutta, commuters are becoming more innovative in the way they save on the high gas prices. One of the ways they are doing this is to purchase scooters.

There are many different types of scooters. There are the foot-powered which are preferred by teenagers and children for playing, then there are the electric-powered which are modern and require no gasoline. Then there are the gas-powered scooters which have gained in popularity.

Scooter have been around since the 1920s. They first appeared in the Far East then they took up residence in the West where the technology evolved to produce even better models. Today, it is not uncommon to see in many cities, thousands of day workers riding to and from using scooters. This has saved tremendously.

Gas scooters are especially preferred today because they do away with the necessity of expensive gasoline. The technology behind gas scooters has evolved in the last 10 years. A gas tank is mounted on the base of the scooter and the gas is pumped into an combustion chamber which burns the gas thereby releasing the pressure that causes the engine motion. Gas scooters can mount speeds of up to 100 miles an hour.

Gas scooters, just like the rest of the scooters have their inherent advantages. One of them as we mentioned is the fuel efficiency. People are looking for ways saving on gasoline. This is because of the high prices that are prevalent in almost every major world city.

Gas scooters are also cute. That is why other than their fuel efficiency, which definitely attracts many because of the state of the world economy, scooters are still a hot selling item among the younger generation. In the US, people mostly buy scooters for recreational purposes. During good weather such as summer, many people get on their scooters and use them to commute for short to medium distances. Picnics are also places where it is easy to see gas scooters.

Gas scooters also continue to attract many because they are affordable. In places like the US, most people can afford a car. But in third world nations and other emerging nations, this is not the case. Many workers are faced with long commutes and no reliable transportation. The public transportation is crowded and sometimes unsafe. Scooters are definitely one great way of resolving this situation. They are far less pricey as compared to cars and are therefore well within the reach of many medium income workers.

In places plagued by long traffic jams, gas scooters are also ideal because one can easily manuever. There is no longer any need to wait behind a long stream of cars. One can easily manuever through traffic and get to their destination faster.

Learn How To Remove Dents On Your Car The Paintless Way

By Mario Goldstein

For most car owners, the thought of restoring a car after a collison is daunting. It can be very pricey if the car has been severely damaged. However, these can be easily fixed without the expensive paint jobs and bodywork repair involved

Most minor bodywork issues can be repaired in a matter of minutes, when done by a well-trained, skilled professional. Understanding the process will help you to know what to look for in these unfortunate circumstances.

Usually, collision shops don't do these smaller repairs themselves they outsource them to a smaller mobile service or they will offer paintless dent removal as an additional service. Dents from the size of a dime to 2 to 3 inches in diameter and larger can be handled by a qualified professional in anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes.

In many cases the dent is so completely gone it will look like nothing was ever there, and in some other instances, all you would see to know that work had been done is a small black plug in the door end. Paintless dent removal is often the best way to retain the integrity of a custom paint job. In the hands of a qualified professional, 10 to 15 vehicles a day can be done with amazing results.

Not Always the Answer The main concern in paintless dent removal is how much the metal was stressed (stretched) by the accident. The reason for this concern is that if the metal is stretched too much, then pushing it as it?s done in paintless dent removal can distort the metal and ruin the paint. The other consideration in paintless dent removal is the nature of the coating. Its age can make the coating brittle, or simply its condition as it left the factory. The reason that this is a concern for paintless dent removal is that a heat gun needs to be applied, and the above conditions can be very susceptible to heat ruining the coating.

Light is also used to determine all of the intricacies of the dented surface, so that there are no flaws showing when the job is complete.

Training, Techniques, and Tools It takes more time than you might think to train as a paintless dent removal technician, it takes about 12 months to train to be a good one, and that?s because you need to know all about access to the dent. Paintless dent removal technicians need to spend around $3,000 on tools because specialized tools are needed to access difficult areas in different makes and models.

So the next time you have a dent, ding, or crease, think about the paintless dent removal system, and ask if it can be done, if it can your pocketbook will thank you.

Engine Oil Analysis for Minimal Expense

By Michael Kafuman

It is generally in your best interest to rely on oil analysis to determine your oil change interval. Of course, on many passenger car vehicles that need only 4-6 quarts of oil, the price of the oil analysis can be nearly as much as a full oil change.

So, for many motorists, the better option is to perform a free "do it at home" analysis of their oil. It won't provide results as accurate and precise as results from a professional oil analysis company, but you will get a relatively clear picture of how well your engine oil is holding up.

Within this article you'll find detailed instructions for one of six layman's oil analysis tests which could be used to figure out how your oil is performing and whether you should be getting it out of your engine. In this way you can begin to set realistic oil change intervals for your vehicle.

You might also want to consider learning a bit more regarding motor oil and filtration in general. Quite alot of information can be gleaned from the following sites.

- No More Oil Changes - Over 150 pages of motor oil information

- The Motor Oil Evaluator - motor oil comparison specifications

- A Motor Oil Forum for discussion of motor oils

The Spot Test

Putting this simple test into practice can reveal a plethora of possible oil degredation issues that might cause your engine to be in need of an oil change: excessive particulates, condensation build-up, glycol contamination, fuel dilution, failure of dispersant additives, formation of sludge and oxidation products.

While your engine (and the oil) is WARM (not HOT), allow a drop of oil to fall from your dipstick onto a heavy, white, NON-glossy business card. Lay the paper or business card flat, but so that all but the very edges of the paper is suspended. As a possible example, if you're using stiff card stock or a stiff business card (which you really should be) simply set the card across the top of a coffee cup.

You want to wait for the oil drop to be completely absorbed which might take awhile. Once all of the oil has been drawn into the pores of the paper you should be able to begin evaluating the condition of your oil.

- A colorless circle or somewhat yellowish outer ring = "good" oil.

- A dense, dark deposit zone = Dispersant additive failure

- A black, pasty area = Anti-freeze in your engine oil

- Center of circle dark with distinct outer ring = Severe oxidation

- A dark center with surrounding rings = Fuel in oil, Fuel dilution

How Do I Remove Egg Stains From My Car Paintwork?

By Mario Goldstein

Vandalism of property is a costly endeavor not only for the recipient in damage repairs but also for the one being so destructive when they land in jail. Throwing eggs at cars may seem like a harmless prank. In fact, though it is not harmless as it leaves stains on some car paint finishes. If there is a great deal of staining it could mean having to the have, the car repainted. Now that harmless prank has turned into hundreds of dollars worth of damage.

There are some individuals that have said that Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion rubbed into the egg stain and left for five minutes then removed works well. I haven?t seen this in action so it?s hard to say how valid it is.

There are two solutions you may want to try before taking it to the auto repair shop.

Method One

Step One Most often what happens is if the egg happens to hit the car the wrong way if will chip the paint. So first, you need to assess the damage very carefully. If the paint is not chipped you can try this method, otherwise you need to go to method 2.

Step Two Purchase some very high grit sandpaper and soak a strip of it in water overnight. The paper must be saturated with water.

Step Three Sand very lightly the stained area with the sandpaper you had soaking in water overnight. Do not apply too much pressure and make sure you keep the sandpaper wet.

Step Four Rinse the area well and dry it. You now need to use a rotary polisher. This should remove any marks that the sanding may have made. The technique you have utilized here is a smooth service that has had a clear coat melted into it.

Step Five Now you are going to want to eliminate the swirl marks and you do this by applying a pure polish and buffing it in.

If the egg stain mark is not gone then you will have to resort to step two.

Method Two Fold an extra strength paper towel into a square and place it over the egg stain. Then spray the paper towel with brake cleaner being sure to keep it confined to the area of the stain. The brake fluid may removed some of the car paint so be absolutely sure not to get it anywhere except on the stain itself.

If the car is badly chipped you will need to sand it down, and then touch it up with some car paint.

Removing permanent stains from cars can be very difficult. In order not to end up having to do a full paint job you would be much further ahead to take it into a paint repair shop and have it professionally done. All too often do it yourselfers have ended up costing themselves a great deal of money thinking they could repair a problem themselves.

Ideally if there is vandalism in your area you would be wise to keep your vehicle in a shelter location if possible.
